Pineapple process records

Pineapple Crown, Peel & Core Preparation Brief

Tell the equipment supplier exactly what reaches the crusher. Whole-fruit intake, peeled flesh, cores and recovered trimming streams are different feed descriptions.

Name each incoming stream

Record the pineapple lot, maturity assessment and time after preparation. Keep a peeled-flesh route separate from a preparation line that also handles shell, eyes or cores. A crusher and belt press do not establish an automatic crown, peel or core-removal supply scope.

Separate preparation from extraction

Specify whether reception, washing, inspection and preparation conveyors are included or already available. Photograph the actual feed handoff and note container size, discharge height, access and the route for preparation rejects. A machine layout can then define these interfaces.

Why fruit form belongs in the brief

FAO describes pineapple juice streams arising from different preparation operations and explains how shell or core components can affect the juice. Use this qualitative context to define a test lot; historical processing examples do not establish a new line specification.
