Pineapple process records

Pineapple Belt Press Juice & Pomace Record

Use weighed streams from one timed press run. The tool below records prepared-feed recovery and unexplained mass; it does not predict a whole-fruit yield.

Weigh both outlets before comparing a percentage

Collect juice and wet pomace over the same interval as the prepared mash entering the press. Tare each container and identify material left in the feed system, belt or collection circuit at the start and end. Wash-down water must be excluded from this product-only record.

Read recovery and closure together

Juice recovery is collected juice divided by prepared press feed. Mass closure also includes wet pomace and net hold-up increase. An unassigned difference signals material, timing or weighing that needs investigation; it is not automatically an additional loss caused by the press.

Keep evidence with each test run

Retain the feed, juice and wet-pomace sample identifiers, preparation notes, belt condition and operating adjustments with the record. Comparing runs with different core, shell or water additions requires a fresh statement of the basis.

Prepared-feed recovery and mass closure

All masses use one batch or collection interval. Exclude wash water and other additions. Hold-up means the net increase of retained product during that interval.
