Recover juice before adjusting its texture
Prepared pineapple passes through the crusher to create a feed that the belt press can distribute. The press separates a liquid stream from discharged pomace. Neither the crusher motor rating nor the press catalogue alone defines the recovered juice flow.
Representative fruit trials should establish the preparation state, press loading and recovered stream. Keep the incoming fruit, prepared mash and extracted juice quantities separate when matching the downstream equipment.
Remove coarse fibre without treating every particle as waste
The screened finisher handles the juice after extraction. Its screening arrangement is selected around the desired fine-pulp character and the coarse material that should leave the product. Screened juice should not automatically be described as clarified juice.
Agree the product sample and finishing target before specifying screens. Check the feed arrangement, screened outlet and retained-material removal together; a finer screen can change loading and cleaning requirements.
Match treatment and packaging to the actual juice
Buffering and transfer must accommodate the recovered juice stream. Entrained air, foam and the product specification determine whether vacuum deaeration belongs in the route.
Thermal treatment and bulk filling are matched to composition, flow and package. Include representative pulp behaviour and cleaning requirements in that discussion. An equipment family temperature range is not a validated treatment recipe or a shelf-life promise.

Practical questions
Does cloudy juice need ultrafiltration?
Not automatically. Ultrafiltration serves a separate clarification duty. A cloudy product may instead use screen finishing to remove coarse fibre while retaining an agreed fine-pulp character.
What should we provide for an initial enquiry?
Describe the incoming fruit or prepared feed, target juice character, operating schedule and intended package. State whether a requirement is fruit feed, press feed or recovered juice flow.
