Keep the lot and preparation fixed
Identify peeled flesh, core content and any trimming addition before changing a machine setting. Weigh the prepared feed, retain a representative sample and record the time window. Change one controllable setting at a time so that the press comparison remains interpretable.
| Observation | Record | What it informs |
|---|---|---|
| Incoming material | Lot ID, preparation route, temperature and sample ID | Repeatable trial basis |
| Crusher assembly | Installed cutting/size-reduction arrangement and setting | Feed reduction and access |
| Discharge to press | Mash distribution, surging and visible large pieces | Transfer and feed-spreading scope |
| Press response | Juice sample, wet pomace, belt condition and interruptions | Combined extraction behaviour |
Specify the connection rather than a standalone speed
Measure the feed and discharge interface, guard-opening envelope, isolation points and safe access for the installed crusher. Describe the buffer or conveyor between crusher and press. Final connection drawings and service clearances belong to the supplied equipment configuration.
Collect material at the actual handoff
Take mash and product samples from a named location with a common lot reference. Keep wash water outside the measured product balance; report any process addition separately. The blank worksheet records the boundary without supplying a fictitious trial result.
